  1. Remove handpiece from tubing.
  2. Clean exterior surface and fiberoptics with alcohol. (Do not use harsh cleaners or ultrasonic cleaner.)
  3. Insert a bur, and spray lubricant into air drive port.
  4. Rotate bur between the thumb and forefinger.
  5. Attach handpiece to tubing, cover with paper towel and run.
  6. Examine oil discharge on towel. If discolored, repeat procedure until discharge becomes clear.
  7. Wipe off excess surface oil.
  8. Run for 20 to 30 seconds.
  9. Repeat until all excess oil is expelled from inside handpiece.
  10. Autoclave handpiece following recommended procedures.
  11. Remove handpiece and let cool. (Handpiece must be at room temperature before proceeding.)
  12. Insert a bur, and spray lubricant into air drive port.
  13. Rotate bur between the thumb and forefinger.
  14. Attach handpiece to tubing, and run for 20 to 30 seconds.

  1. Lubricate with high viscosity cleaning oil before autoclaving.
  2. Run handpiece 30 seconds to clear excess oil.
  3. Autoclave handpiece following recommended procedures.
  4. Remove handpiece and let cool. (Handpiece must be at room temperature before proceeding.)
  5. Lubricate as noted above.
  6. Spin off excess oil.

  • High speed handpieces cannot be over-lubricated.
  • Keep manufacturers recommended procedures on file for reference.
  • Never use pin oil or syringe oil on high speed handpieces.
  • Lubricate before autoclaving.
  • Set air pressure to Manufacturers specifications.
  1. Lubrication is not required.
  2. To clean, remove bur and blow air into chuck.
  3. Insert bur. (Never operate without a bur.)
  4. Run for 20 seconds to flush air and water lines.
  5. Clean exterior surface with alcohol.
  6. Dry thoroughly.
  7. Autoclave handpiece following recommended procedures. (Never submerge handpiece in chemical disinfectants, ultrasonic cleaner or cold sterilants.)
  8. Allow 30 minutes to cool to room temperature.

  2. Insert a bur and tighten.
  3. Remove handpiece from tubing.
  4. Add 2 to 3 drops of oil into drive air tube.
  5. Attach handpiece to tubing, and run at high speed for 10 to 20 seconds.
  6. Consult with manufacturer before autoclaving any low speed handpieces for recommended procedures.

  1. Add 2 to 3 drops of oil into drive tube.
  2. Insert a bur.
  3. Run handpiece 10 to 20 seconds.

  • Lubricate after each use.
  • Keep manufacturers recommended procedures on file for reference.
  • Never autoclave detachable motors.
  • Set air pressure to manufacturers specifications.
  • Use high viscosity lubricating and cleaning oil.
